How do I know if my subscription has been successful?
You will receive a confirmation email telling you that payment has been successful. Please ensure that you supply us with the correct contact details.

How do I know that my bespoke song order has gone through successfully?
You will receive a confirmation email telling you that payment has been successful. Please ensure that you supply us with the correct contact details.

What can I access prior to subscription?
You will be able to listen to short excerpts of every song we have on the Song Hub.

What details do I give for my bespoke song?
There are many fields of information you can give us, but the more detail you include, the closer the song will be to your specifications.

What if my school’s WiFi isn’t fast enough for streaming?
For a small additional cost, you can download any of the songs from the Song Hub that you choose.

Can I make a CD with my downloaded songs?
Yes, you can for the purposes of rehearsal and performance, but it is against our terms and conditions to distribute those songs to a third party. Please see the terms and conditions for more information.

What if we don’t have a music specialist in our school?
Don’t worry, our resource packs provide you with detailed information on how to engage children with singing and how to teach the songs. You also receive backing tracks for rehearsal and performance purposes.

What further support could I get?
SongBug offers children’s workshops and staff inset at your school/organisation. Please contact us for more details.

What if we would like our children to take part in writing the bespoke song?
SongBug will come to your school/organisation and do a song writing workshop with the children.

What do I get with my membership?
You will be able to access every song on the Song Hub for streaming as often as you wish, as well as ability to download the resources that go with each song. You also get performing rights for internal school use. However, if you wish to download the music so that you don't need to stream it, or you wish to perform it to the public, there will be a small additional cost for this.

What kind of songs are on the Song Hub?
We have a variety of songs that have been designed to engage with children, covering many topics, special events and current issues, as well as songs for the Christian faith, which include hymns and Mass settings.

How long does my membership last?
Your membership will last 12 months. When this expires, you can subscribe again for a further 12 months.

What if my school does not have a credit/debit card or PayPal?
You can pay by BACS, but please be aware that subscription will not begin until the BACS transfer has been completed.

What if I don’t like our bespoke song?
Our advice to you would be to firstly, teach it to the children: because from our experience, they will more than likely really enjoy singing it! If, however, you are still unsatisfied, we will compose two further demos for you to choose from. Please be aware that there are no time parameters on this being completed.

My school is not in the UK, can I still subscribe?
Of course you can! You can still access the full range of services our website has to offer from anywhere in the world.

How can I decide if I want to subscribe before paying?
You are more than welcome to listen to previews of every single song on the Song Hub to help you decide. We are confident though that you will love the songs that you hear!

Will new content be regularly uploaded?
Yes, our song writing teams are constantly creating new songs which will be uploaded on a regular basis so the children always have new songs to learn and enjoy.

I would like to renew our subscription early, but will our current one be cut short?
Renewing early means that we add 12 months to your current expiry date and you will have no break in your access to your SongBug membership. You won’t lose out on any time left on your current membership

What if I lose the music scores after I have downloaded and printed them?
You can download them as many times as you need to, there is no limit.

Can we request themes for songs to be added to the Song Hub?
Yes, by all means, please contact us with any ideas you may have for songs that we can write and add to the Song Hub.

Are there any exciting projects in the pipeline?
Yes! We are working on developing a recording feature to our service, which will enable your school to share recordings with the children and their parents. Sit tight for further details…
